Tyler graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland University-Kansas City in 2021 and shortly after, opened his own practice in south Overland Park called Legacy Chiropractic. He grew up playing football, basketball and running track. In 2014, Tyler discovered CrossFit and was initially drawn towards the combination of competitiveness and sense of community within the gym. Tyler’s favorite aspects of CrossFit as an athlete are the constant pursuit of improvement and the way a workout feels solely dependent on the intensity in which it is done. Tyler decided to get his L1 Certification to gain a better understanding of the basis in which CrossFit was founded upon and hopefully become a coach, which he did. As a coach, Tyler looks forward to every single class to help members improve a skill/lift and be their biggest cheerleader. He believes there is nothing more satisfying than watching someone push 1 degree further than they thought they could. CrossFit will be a part of the rest of Tyler’s life with the constant ability to learn, grow, and become a part of the family that is the CrossFit community.
